ARi’s ion exchange and adsorption systems benefit from the use of fractal fluid distribution, which promotes plug flow characteristics through the resin beds. ARi’s ion exchange technology is also used in the beet sugar industry to remove divalent compounds from sugar beet thin juice. The calcium in the juice is removed using weak acid cation exchange, resulting in decalcified juice that greatly decreases evaporator scale.
